your love. your life. on stage.

From fiction to true-life; from unforgettable classics to modern masterpieces, the 2018-2019 KeyBank Broadway Series lineup is a striking and diverse mix of musical styles, themes and source material.

The season begins appropriately with a great big "hello" to Cleveland in the Tony® Award-winning Revival of HELLO, DOLLY! The inimitable Dolly Levi and her colorful co-stars will launch their National Tour right where they belong... in the Connor Palace at Playhouse Square.

From there, we are delighted to welcome back a pair of Alain Boubil and Claude-Michel Schönberg blockbusters with incredible new productions of LES MISÉRABLES and MISS SAIGON.

Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber rediscovers his inner-rocker with the hilarious and energy-filled musical adaptation of the hit film SCHOOL OF ROCK (featuring an amazing band of child musicians) and Alan Menken (Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin) teams with Academy Award® winner Robert De Niro to bring actor Chazz Palminteri's real-life story from the front stoops of New York to the musical stage in A BRONX TALE.

Cleveland audiences “will be found” discovering firsthand how DEAR EVAN HANSEN captivated audiences on its way to winning six Tony Awards in 2017 when this contemporary musical arrives in Cleveland.

And we will wrap up the season with the inspiring and true story of trust, gratitude and friendship when 7,000 airline passengers are diverted on 9/11 to the small town of Gander, Newfoundland in COME FROM AWAY.

Our ability to offer the best shows year after year would not be possible without the best audiences—which we have, thanks to you. We encourage you to continue your commitment and keep your seats for this thrilling season.

Thank you and I look forward to seeing you at the theater.

Winner of 4 Tony® Awards including BEST MUSICAL REVIVAL, Broadway’s most beloved musical is back where it belongs! Directed by Tony winner Jerry Zaks and featuring choreography by Tony winner Warren Carlyle, HELLO DOLLY! is “the best show of the year” (NPR).

Cameron Mackintosh presents the new production of Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg’s Tony® Award-winning musical phenomenon, LES MISÉRABLES, direct from its acclaimed Broadway return. Featuring the beloved songs “I Dreamed a Dream,” “On My Own,” “Stars,” “Bring Him Home,” “One Day More,” and many more, this epic and uplifting story has become one of the most celebrated musicals in theatrical history. With its glorious new staging and dazzlingly reimagined scenery inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo, this breathtaking new production has left both audiences and critics awestruck. “Les Miz is born again!” (NY1).

Experience the acclaimed new production of the legendary musical MISS SAIGON, from the creators of Les Misérables. This is the epic story of a young Vietnamese woman named Kim. In a bar run by a notorious character called The Engineer, Kim meets an American G.I. That encounter will change their lives forever. Featuring stunning spectacle, a sensational cast of 42, and a soaring score including Broadway hits like “Last Night of the World,” “The Movie in My Mind,” and “The Heat is On in Saigon,” this is a theatrical event you will never forget.

SCHOOL OF ROCK is a New York Times Critics’ Pick and “AN INSPIRING JOLT OF ENERGY, JOY AND MAD SKILLZ!” (Entertainment Weekly). Based on the hit film, this hilarious new musical follows Dewey Finn, a wannabe rock star turned substitute teacher who transforms a class of straight-A students into grade-A rockers. It features 14 new songs from ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER, all the original songs from the movie and musical theater’s first-ever live kids rock band!

Broadway’s hit crowd-pleaser takes you to the stoops of the Bronx in the 1960s – where a young man is caught between the father he loves and the mob boss he’d love to be. Bursting with high-energy dance numbers and original Doo-Wop tunes from the songwriter of Beauty and the Beast, A BRONX TALE is an unforgettable story of loyalty and family. Academy Award® winner Robert De Niro and Tony® winner Jerry Zaks direct this streetwise musical – based on Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri’s story – that The New York Times hails as “A Critics’ Pick! The kind of tale that makes you laugh and cry.”

Winner of 6 Tony® Awards including Best Musical, DEAR EVAN HANSEN is the deeply personal and profoundly contemporary musical about life and the way we live it. The Washington Post calls DEAR EVAN HANSEN “one of the most remarkable shows in musical theater history.”

The true story of the small town that welcomed the world. Broadway’s COME FROM AWAY has won Best Musical all across North America! The New York Times Critics’ Pick takes you into the heart of the remarkable true story of 7,000 stranded passengers and the small town in Newfoundland that welcomed them. Cultures clashed and nerves ran night, but uneasiness turned into trust, music soared into the night, and gratitude grew into enduring friendships. Don’t miss this breathtaking new musical written by Tony® nominees Irene Sankoff and David Hein, and helmed by this year’s Tony-winning Best Director, Christopher Ashley. Newsweek cheers, “It takes you to a place you never want to leave!” ON 9/11, the world stopped. On 9/12, their stories moved us all.
